The Atlanta Falcons kicked off their post bye practice week in preparation for the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday. T Sam Baker (hip) and DT Grady Jackson (knee) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. DT Kindal Moorehead (ankle) and CB Brent Grimes (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. DT Jason Jefferson (ankle) and WR Laurent Robinson (knee) both practiced fully today with the team.

The Cinderella season continues for the upstart Atlanta Falcons as place kicker Jason Elam drove home a 48 yard field goal as time expired to give the Falcons a 22-20 victory over the Chicago Bears. The last second field goal was set up by a Matt Ryan pass to Michael Jenkins for 26 yards to the Bears 30 yard line. The Bears had just gone in front 20-19 on a Kyle Orton to Rashied Davis 17 yard touchdown pass with 11 seconds left in the game. Quarterback Matt Ryan finished the day 22 for 30 with 301 yards passing and 1 touchdown. Roddy White led the Falcons receivers with 9 catches for 112 yards and one touchdown. Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood combined for 85 rushing yards on 28 carries as the Falcons moved to 4-2 on the season.

NFL Networks Adam Schefter reports that Falcons WR Roddy White will be active and will start today versus the Chicago Bears despite having a head injury related to a concussion.

The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up preparations Friday for the upcoming game versus the Chicago Bears. DT Grady Jackson (Knee), C Todd McClure (Calf) and TE Justin Peelle (Knee) all had limited participation in practice on Friday and all three are listed as questionable on the injury report versus the Bears. DT Jason Jefferson (Ankle) and WR Laurent Robinson (Knee) both sat out of practice again on Friday and are listed as doubtful. WR Roddy White (Head) also did not participate in Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable. Head coach Mike Smith seems not too concerned about his availability. T Todd Weiner (Knee) and G Ben Wilkerson (Chest) were both again limited in practice on Friday and both are listed as probable and should play baring any setbacks.

Atlanta Falcons DE John Abraham (Not injury related) was back practicing fully on Thursday after having off on Wednesday. TE Justin Peelle (Knee) was added to the Thursday injury report with a knee injury and was limited on Thursday. G Ben Wilkerson (Chest), DT Grady Jackson (Knee), C Todd McClure (Calf) and T Todd Weiner (Knee) were are limited in practice on Thursday. DT Jason Jefferson (Ankle), WR Laurent Robinson (Knee) and WR Roddy White (Head) all sat out out on Thursday and did not practice.

The Atlanta Falcons week 6 practice preparations started on Wednesday with DE John Abraham (not injury related), DT Grady Jackson (Knee), DT Jason Jefferson (Ankle), C Todd McClure (Calf) and WR Laurent Robinson all sitting out practice. T Todd Weiner (Knee), WR Roddy White (Head) and G Ben Wilkerson (Chest) all had limited participation in practice on Wednesday.

The Atlanta Falcons scored against the Packers are their opening drive as quarterback Matt Ryan went 4 for 4 passing on the drive and capped it off with a 4th down, 1 yard touchdown pass to tight end Justin Peele. Wide receiver Roddy White chipped in with 3 receptions for 64 yards on the drive and running back Michael Turner ran the ball 5 times for 11 yards on the drive.
